On 28 January 2015, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) will convene, in Geneva, a meeting of partners, governments and donors supporting the global response to the Ebola virus disease outbreak and the work of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
This Forum will provide a platform to review the response, share experiences and give voice to communities and affected people whose contribution on the frontline already made a real difference.
Red Cross volunteers, community practitioners, survivors of Ebola and partners will take stock, draw lessons and further guide and accelerate the response, including through addressing fear, stigma and discrimination, and strengthening health and community systems to recover and resist further shocks.
