Recovering Hope
Recovering Hope follows the lives of 3 Haitian women who are trying to build back their lives after the devastating earthquake of January 2010. Supported by a livelihoods grant from the Red Cross the series will follow former teacher Marie, elderly Mariane and single mother Luciana as they work on setting up a business and earning an income, taking the first steps towards a new future.

A Safer Home: Shelter in Haiti

The first rains in the camps
It is the beginning of the rainy season in Haiti. Soon after one of the first rains of the season in the camps, the scene transforms into rain soaked mud-bath.
