What happens next?

Once your registration has been approved and you have been contacted by a member of the International Federation, you can expect the following to happen.

Cost estimate
The International Federation team will prepare a cost estimate, which will be sent to you by e-mail.

We include in the cost estimate:

  • actual cost of goods or services
  • service fee (read about service fees)
  • freight and insurance
  • other charges which may be applicable

Formal agreement
We will send you an acceptance document. You approve the cost estimate by signing and returning the acceptance document.

You will also receive:

  • terms and conditions
  • information on validity or termination for either party

The next steps depend on the nature of your order.

Procurement and delivery
Once the cost estimate is accepted and this is communicated to the International Federation, the process of procurement or delivery is initiated by the appropriate team.

The IFRC ensures that the required supplies are delivered to the consignee.

Settling accounts

  • The International Federation pays the supplier(s) and freight forwarder.
  • The International Federation prepares the statement of accounts and sends it to you.
