FedNet is the extranet of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). It is a non-public platform where the IFRC, member National Societies and partners collaborate. The following people are eligible to join: National Society staff, volunteers, and field delegates; IFRC staff, delegates, and local staff; all ICRC personnel; and certain external partners, who may access select areas of the site, as appropriate.
How to Register (Registration Quick Guide, pdf)
On FedNet, your email address is your user name, so each registrant should have his or her own user name (full email address) and password. If you have a Red Cross/Red Crescent email address, please enter this as your professional email. For security reasons, login information should not be shared. Please review your email address carefully before submitting: if your address is incorrect (@redcross.rog or redcrecsent.org.th), we cannot contact you.
When selecting a password, please select something memorable or keep a record in a secure file. If you lose your password, you will need to use the Reset function on the login screen and will receive a system-generated password, since passwords cannot be reset by individuals at this time.
When you have completed all possible fields, select Send at the bottom of the page. If you do not proceed to a new page, the form is missing information. If you prefer not to share a private email address, please write in your professional address a second time.
National Societies
All National Society personnel (staff and volunteers) are eligible to sign up as FedNet users. Each National Society is responsible for selecting its own FedNet users, and ensuring those people it suggests are members of the Society.
Delegations
All delegates and Federation local staff are eligible to sign up as FedNet users. The responsibility for deciding who should have a password rests with the Head of each Delegation.
IFRC
All Federation staff who have network accounts (@ifrc.org) are automatically granted FedNet access, thus need not register. Please go to the Login page, using your network credentials (firstname.lastname) and network password to log in.
Already Registered?
If you think you already have a FedNet account or you cannot remember your password, please click on reset password, do not create a new account. If you have already filled out the registration form but have not received further information from FedNet, please check your email junk mail folders or email fednet@ifrc.org. Most FedNet applications are approved within 24 hours during the Geneva business week.
For any other questions, please email fednet@ifrc.org.
