47 national and contemporary artists offered their works for sale to benevolent donors who support the Philippine Red Cross in their recovery efforts for thousands of families who were affected by typhoons Pedring and Quiel.

Dubbed 'Disruptions in Red', the art event was  held on October 29, 2011 at the Ayala Museum in Makati City.

The collaboration of artists include national artists Napoleon Abueva, Arturo Luz and Abdulmari Asia Imao. Other premier contemporary artists are Ramon Orlina, Juvenal Sanso, Araceli Dans, Romulo Olazo, Betsy Westendorp, Angel Cacnio, and many more.

Two months earlier the twin typhoons battered the country with their strong and heavy winds and rains, families who were left homeless and stripped off their livelihood still struggle to pick up the pieces and restore their lives to normalcy.

Guests and donors who donated to the Red Cross for typhoon affected families received one work of art each in appreciation of their generosity.
Art patrons, Red Cross partners, supporters and volunteers also attended the event.
