Bernadette Peterhans

Bernadette Peterhans, is a trained nurse specialized in emergency care holding an MSc in Public Health for Developing Countries. She is head of unit professional postgraduate training at Swiss TPH Basel.  Her professional activities include consultancy work assessments, evaluations and reviews of health systems strengthening projects with a special focus on community based health care in conflict / post-conflict countries, as well as the coordination and teaching in a Master in International Health program. She conducted expert missions for the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Swiss Red Cross and Solidarmed, e.g. in Afghanistan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Zambia.
