Sigrid Kopp

Sigrid Kopp is a Midwife and Pediatric Nurse with a Master of Science in Management of Health Care/Midwifery. She specialized in Home Birth in Germany, before joining MSF in 2007. After 10 missions as a Midwife in the field, she joined the ICRC for two field missions. Today, she holds the position of the Regional Midwife/ Reproductive Health Advisor in ICRC, based in Nairobi, overlooking 7 Sub-Saharan countries and their SRH Activities. Sigrid has worked in Somalia, Central African Republic, South Sudan, Chad, Congo, Mali, Nigeria and Burma. She has a profound experience in setting up Reproductive Health Activities in conflict zones and remote areas.
