In Pictures - IFRC Secretary General visit to South America

The Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Elhadj As Sy, and the Americas Regional Director of the IFRC, Walter Cotte, made a visit from November 26 to 1 December to three countries in the Americas region. First, they attended the Meeting of Presidents of the Red Cross of South America, in the city of Cordoba, Argentina, where presidents of more than 15 National Societies of the region participated together with invited members of other National Societies of the world.  They then traveled to Brazil and Chile, to participate in the signing of agreements of headquarters in these countries, with the aim of strengthening cooperation ties and deepening the Red Cross action in the region.
