Published: 18 August 2014 15:57 CET

My name is Amjad Hamza. I have a degree in Economics , and my major is Banks and Insurance. Now I'm a first-year Master of Business Administration student. I've been a volunteer in the Syrian Arab Red Crescent since 2005.

Since 2007, I have worked in disaster management, as well as in first aid , psychosocial support, and water and sanitation.

Currently, I'm the coordinator of field activities in the response center for the Red Crescent's Sweida branch. My job is to coordinate between the working teams in the field and the other parties, and to ensure we are implementing plans according to the objectives and to the time tables. I also supervise the quality assessment information and beneficiary satisfaction, and work with the response coordinator in monitoring emergency planning and response cases.
