Key affected populations

On 9 June, the IFRC and the Alliance organised a side event co-hosted by the UK and South African governments with different speakers amid key affected populations. The side event aims at advocating for key populations affected by HIV and AIDS or at risk of being affected by the disease such as sex workers, transgender people, men who have sex with men, and people who inject drugs. They are in need of a concrete and effective move towards universal access to HIV services.
