Country Projects: Kazakhstan

Given the disaster-prone nature of the Central Asian region, the Kazakhstan Red Crescent Society (KRC) and the IFRC have been working together to assist national authorities to improve their legal preparedness for international disaster response.  In particular, the IFRC and the KRC have been working with the Norweigan Red Cross as part of a technical assistance project designed to make the necessary legislative changes to strengthen disaster preparedness at the national and regional level.
