Towards the end of 2016, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) experienced floods, in two locations.

Yellow fever outbreak was declared in DRC in March, affecting people in six of the country's provinces, including the capital city Kinshasa. 3600 Red Cross volunteers were mobilized to increase awareness on yellow fever among vulnerable communities.
