Young people taking action in today's world

Young people are already actively involved in the work of the Red Cross and Red Crescent at all levels. Thanks to the Solferino Youth Declaration, we are focusing on four areas for development:

  • Youth voices for stronger societies,
  • Healthy youth make a healthy world,
  • Adapting to climate change and addressing catastrophes, and
  • Live our principles, celebrate our diversity, change our community.

You can use the links below to find more information about the work of young people in each of these areas. If you are interested in how these four topics were chosen, you should read the Solferino Youth Declaration.

Healthy youth make a healthy world
Adapting to climate change and addressing catastrophes
Live our principles, celebrate our diversity, change our community

If you have an interesting programme that responds to one of these four challenges, please let us know, so that we can share it with the world!
