Country Projects: Vanuatu

As part of its efforts to promote legal preparedness for disasters in the Asia-Pacific region, the IFRC  has been supporting National Societies such as the Vanuatu Red Cross in their attempts to map out the legal instruments relevant to disaster response situations.  The IFRC and the Vanuatu National Society have been working in close collaboration with Vanuatu's National Disaster Management Office to conduct an in-depth study to identify legal gaps and ways forward in this context.
