APFN hosts Webinar on Learning from the Global Fundraising Experience for Typhoon Haiyan

APFN, together with IFRC Asia Pacific Zone Office,  hosted webinar on Learning from the Global Fundraising Experience for Typhoon Haiyan  on May 28, 2015.   The webinar aimed at sharing fundraising experience across the Movement during the Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. More than 50 participants from 30 National Societies, ICRC and IFRC Delegations across the Asia Pacific, Europe and African zones participated.  

The following speakers shared their experience and expertise:   Ms Lourdes Perez, Relationship Manager, IFRC Asia Pacific zone;  Ms Linda Kelly, Manager, Strategic Partnerships and International Relations Department, IFRC Geneva;  Ms Olaug Bergseth, Senior Officer for Corporate Sector, IFRC Geneva;  Ms Janprappa Vitchicholchai, Deputy Fundraising Director, Thai Red Cross;  Mr Sung Jun Kim, Senior Officer of the Contents Planning Team, Korean Red Cross;  Ms Louise Daintrey, Fundraising Project Manager, British Red Cross; and Dr Gwendolyn Pang, Secretary General, Philippine Red Cross
