In pictures – polio campaign in Syria

Al Othman Medical Center in Damascus is managed by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and supported by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). It provides support for vulnerable communities regardless of their political affiliations and recently took part in a nationwide polio-vaccination campaign to ensure the life-threatening disease does not get a grip on the population.
