The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is the largest
humanitarian network in the world, operating in 186 countries at
a grassroots level. Its Red Cross and Red Crescent emblems represent
one of best-known brands in the world.
As part of our work to raise funds to run our operations that assist
around 30 million vulnerable people worldwide, the Federation is
developing multinational and global alliances with a select group
of corporations.
Many companies are paying increasing notice to their corporate social
responsibility and their social agenda. By showcasing their commitment
to communities in which their corporation operates, it highlights
the value of their brand. Market research shows that consumers --
both current and potential -- have a more positive image of a company
