Our world. Your move.

The year 2009 marks a series of significant milestones for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement:

  • the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Solferino
  • the 90th anniversary of the founding of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and
  • the 60th anniversary of the Geneva Conventions.

To commemorate these timely anniversaries and the global spirit of change, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement launched the "Our world. Your move." campaign.

Jointly led by the International Federation and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the campaign calls upon the power of all people to believe in humanity. Simple gestures make a difference, make yours at http://ourworld-yourmove.org.
