The Federation seeks to employ talented
individuals whose experience and interests are linked with one of
the four main areas for action within our organization:
- Promotion of fundamental principles
and humanitarian values
- Disaster response
- Disaster preparedness
- Health and care in the community
Opportunities also exist in support areas
such as administration, finance, human resources, legal and information
technology.
In general, our employees possess the following
qualities:

- Ability to work well in a multicultural
team
- High level of technical knowledge
- University degree in a field linked
directly to the one of the areas of our activities
- Good analytical skills, solution focused
and demonstrable accountability
- Excellent communication skills
- Work experience at national and/or international
level, preferably within the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement
or other humanitarian organization
- Proficiency in at least one of the official
languages of the Federation (Arabic, English, French and Spanish)
and a working knowledge of a second language. Additional languages
are an asset
- Experience: two to three years’
experience for junior professionals; four to eight years’
experience for middle-ranking professionals; more than ten years’
experience, including management experience, for management professionals
