Pan African Conference of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies
The 6th Pan African Conference
of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies took place in
Algiers from 8 to 13 September 2004.
It brought together 50 National
Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Africa, along
with sister National Societies from other continents,
representatives of the International Federation of Red
Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the International
Committee of the Red Cross, governments, United Nations
agencies, other humanitarian actors and the private
sector partners.
