Health
Along with other health issues the far reaching implications of HIV/AIDS in Asia was addressed at the conference, especially prevention and control, and the contentious issues of access to treatment, care and support.

Disaster management
The workshop on disaster management focused on the sharing of good practices designed to benefit National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in the region.

Population movement
The workshop on population movement focused on issues about internally displaced people, migration and refugees.
