The VIth European Red Cross and Red Crescent
Regional Conference
Berlin: 14 19 April 2002
The
VIth European Red Cross and Red Crescent Conference took place in
Berlin 14 – 19 April 2002. It was hosted by the German Red
Cross.
The 2002 conference focused on two main themes - Health and Care
in the Community, and Migration - both of which were divided into
four sub-themes.
The European Red Cross and Red Crescent Regional Conference is held
every four years and aims to increase participation of member societies
in discussions relating to Federation policies and how these are
set up. The next Conference will take place in Russia in 2006.

that has been initiated or developed as a result of the conference
