Recent
fighting in the Casamance region of Senegal has pushed more
than 3,000 people into border villages in neighboring Gambia.
The West African country, known for its relative peace and
tranquility is already home to 5,000 refugees from Senegal
and more than 20,000 refugees from Sierra Leone.
