local airport. The Peruvian Red Cross uses police helicopters
to distribute tents, plastic sheeting and blankets to 120
families in Viraco and Machaguay, two small communities left
isolated in the Peruvian highlands due to the earthquake struck
the region on June 23rd. The only way to reach the communities
is by helicopter since the roads are completely damaged. (P3316)
