Belgorod –example of a successful Russian Red
Cross community-based tuberculosis programme |

The Russian
Red Cross, with the support of the International Federation,
has equipped the state tuberculosis dispensary of Bolgorod.
Svetlana Polschikova, a nurse working in the dispensary, says:
“The advantage of having modern equipment is great for
the patients, of course. The sooner they know their diagnosis,
the more easily they can be cured.”
