The Red Cross Red Crescent health infrastructure programme is reconstructing or rehabilitating 76 health facilities across 16 districts. Another priority for the Red Cross Red Crescent has been the rehabilitation of health facilities, including hospitals, health centres and teaching centres. As well as renovating and refurbishing existing buildings, new facilities are also being constructed. So far 25 projects have been completed out of a portfolio of 76 projects spread across 16 districts of the country.
