One-year-old
Nonhle Fakudze lives with her mother, grandmother and orphaned
cousins in an all-female homestead. Female headed households
caring for orphans in rural areas are the most vulnerable
in the unfolding food crisis in Southern Africa. In Swaziland,
41 per cent of households are headed by females.
