This framework provides an overview of the principles and tools for National society capacity building based on the characteristics of well-functioning societies as defined at the Federation's 1995 General Assembly. Reflecting a number of reference documents, it is intended mainly for an external audience, but we hope all Red Cross and Red Crescent workers will find it useful.
