The aim of Project DANN-Disaster Aid Application Network is to help National Societies and the Federation to improve the logistic processes for faster relief for disaster victims throughout the world.

Project DAAN is a joint effort of the Fritz Institute and the Federation Logistics and Mobilization Department to develop a state of the art, web-based humanitarian logistics system for the use of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement.

This project will tailor the Fritz Institute's core logistics software to the custom needs of the Federation. This is in-line with the Fritz Institute's mission to bring together business best practices, academic research and technology to augment the capabilities of humanitarian organizations engaged in disaster management worldwide.
