Social Welfare Volunteers
The Hellenic Red Cross

The Hellenic Red Cross runs a “Social Welfare volunteers' training” annually. The training lasts two months and to train participants in:
· Information about the philosophy and principles of R.C.
· General information about the social protection programmes in Greece.
· Awareness in the special needs of people who face special problems.
· Training in the ways of approach.

The National Society also runs an International Humanitarian Law Summer School for Law or Political Science graduates.
