About
joining the Red Cross:
I joined the Red Cross in 1992. I am from a small town in
Finland, there was not the much to do and when I had the chance
I joined the Red Cross. Once I was involved I really liked
it and so I continued.
Expectations
for the Youth Commission:
I want to be committed, reasonable and able to give enough
time to the issues. I hope to learn more about how the functioning
of the National Societies and the International Federation.
I hope that we can improve the understanding of youth. Youth
is not a separate programme – youth is everywhere!
Through networking and knowledge sharing, I hope we can make
something sustainable together, something that will last after
we finish our terms in the Youth Commission.
