The International Federation divides the region into four sub-regions
as follows:
- East Asia: China, Japan, Democratic People's Republic
of Korea, Republic of Korea, Mongolia
- Pacific: Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati,
Federated States of Micronesia, New Zealand, Palau, Papua New Guinea,
Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu
- South Asia: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal,
Pakistan and Sri Lanka
- South-east Asia: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia,
Indonesia, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Myanmar,
Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam.
The Asia and Pacific region is represented within the Youth
Commission by Nga Turua (Cook Islands Red Cross Society).
