The International Federation is currently seeking to procure the goods and services listed below.
The IFRC would like to support its 192 member National Societies to meet the needs of their domestic and international operations through the provision of a digital marketplace (to be called 'RED Digital Marketplace').
The marketplace should harness the potential of combining the purchasing power of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement (the Movement)—approximately CHF 36 billion annually—by enabling Movement partners to make their Framework Agreement goods, prepositioned items and services accessible to each other.
The marketplace should be self-service to make the purchasing process quicker and more efficient for Movement partners. They should be able to directly search and review options to buy goods and services, as well as order through the platform without an intermediary and in full autonomy.
All Movement partners should be able to place orders through the marketplace directly from all partners’ Framework Agreement suppliers. And it should also help to aggregate order volumes to obtain better value-for-money.
The overall aim of the marketplace is for it to be an intuitive, cost-efficient, customer-focused online platform that will add value to the procurement process of all Movement partners.
