South Sudan: Floods
South Sudan is experiencing severe flooding for the third consecutive year since 2019. More than 623,000 people have been affected, with flooding causing widespread devastation to livelihoods, submerging schools, health facilities and thousands of houses, and displacing families. Food insecurity is a particular concern. This Emergency Appeal will enable the South Sudan Red Cross to continue providing immediate and early recovery assistance to 20,000 of the most vulnerable households.
