The IFRC continues to urgently call on the international community to support its second revised emergency appeal of 15.1 million Swiss francs as part of an international humanitarian response to meet the emergency needs of people fleeing the violent unrest in Libya to various parts of North Africa, as well those affected by the on-going unrest in Syria and Yemen.
The IFRC stresses the need for all parties in the region to resolve their differences through dialogue rather than violence, and at the same time, facilitate humanitarian access to those in need in order to preserve the lives and dignity of all involved."
