Tsunami 5.5 Year Progress Report

This is the eighth International Federation-wide tsunami progress report, with the first report published in December 2006. While this report does offer an opportunity to gauge the progress over the six-month period of October 2009 to March 2010, it presents what is best defined a cumulative picture. The data presented in each progress report is reflective of the number of Red Cross and Red Crescent societies reporting into it. This figure has changed for each report.

Tsunami 6 Year Progress Report

While this report does offer an opportunity to gauge the progress over the six-month period of April 2010 to September 2010, it presents what is best defined a cumulative picture. Red Cross Red Crescent partners have collectively either fully funded or co-financed the construction of 33,892 permanent houses in Sri Lanka.

Tsunami five-year progress report 2004 – 2009

Tsunami 4.5 Year Progress Report

This is the sixth International Federation-wide tsunami progress report. As reconstruction efforts near completion, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies continues working on the ground with affected communities. Progress in the Red Cross Red Crescent tsunami recovery operation over the past six months has been encouraging and clearly indicates that most tsunami projects will draw to a close by the end of 2009.

Tsunami 2.5 Year Progress Report

The evaluation function enables the IFRC to measure impact of its programmes and operations, learn from experience, take informed decisions, and account for its actions, thereby improving its capacity to fulfil the mission to improve the lives of vulnerable people.

TRIAMS reports

During the operational period, government representatives and agency partners participated in three regional Tsunami Recovery Impact Assessment and Monitoring System (TRIAMS) workshops. The reports explore the themes and specific lessons learned in post-crisis recovery monitoringthat have emerged from this initiative. All TRIAMS documents are available online.
