Sea crossings continue to claim lives on North Africa’s shorelines

The mortal remains of 30 people who lost their lives in trying to cross the Mediterranean have been recovered by the Libyan Red Crescent after a boat sank off Libya earlier this week.

Volunteers of Libyan Red Crescent do whatever they can to help people in need, regardless of where they are from. Many of those who need help are migrants from either sub-Saharan Africa, or the Middle East.
