Question: Who is eligible to register for FedNet?
Answer: FedNet is the IFRC extranet. It is a non-public platform where the IFRC, member National Societies, ICRC and partners share resources and tools and interact in a community of practice environment. The following people are eligible to join: National Society staff, volunteers, and field delegates; IFRC staff, delegates, and local staff; ICRC personnel; and certain external partners, who may access select areas of the site, as appropriate.

Question: How do I register?
Answer: On FedNet, your email address is your user name, so each registrant should have his or her own user name (full email address) and password. If you have a Red Cross/Red Crescent email address, please enter this. For security reasons, login information should not be shared. Please review your email address carefully before submitting: if your address is incorrect (@redcross.rog or redcrecsent.org.th), we cannot contact you.

Most applications are approved within 48 hours.Once your request has been processed, you will receive an email notification from FedNet@ifrc.org with the credentials to log in to FedNet. If you do not receive a response within 5 days, please first check your email’s spam folder, then contact FedNet@ifrc.org using the email address you used to submit your registration.

Question: I got an email saying that my FedNet account will be deactivated. What should I do?
Answer: FedNet users are asked to sign on every 12 months to verify that they are still part of the network. Those who have not logged in within 12 months will receive a series of three notices  before their accounts are deactivated. Please follow the instructions in the notifications to renew your FedNet account.
