IFRC GO

IFRC GO is our emergency operations platform for capturing, analyzing and sharing real-time data during a crisis. It helps our network better meet the needs of affected communities.

About IFRC GO

IFRC GO connects disaster information from the field with people across the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. It covers everything from small, localized crises to major disasters that require international assistance.

Data in IFRC GO gives our network a unique understanding of the needs of disaster-affected communities. It helps our volunteers and staff make sense of a disaster as it unfolds and make better decisions on how to respond. This, in turn, helps us to respond faster and more effectively than ever before. The data is also used by our humanitarian partners.

Watch: The IFRC Go Platform

How does it work?

IFRC GO builds up a collective and comprehensive picture of a crisis by connecting data from:

  • Volunteers and responders in the field who provide information in real time
  • Data from our humanitarian partners
  • Reference material from across our network

It displays information in a simple and easy-to-understand way. Users can then turn this information into reports, maps, graphs, dashboards and more.

All information on IFRC GO is universally accessible and open to the public.
