Case study: Ljubljana Humanitarian Service Point—Slovenian Red Cross
This case study presents the Ljubljana Humanitarian Service Point (HSP), established in 2022 by the Slovenian Red Cross to support migrants and displaced persons. Located near the main train and bus station, the HSP offers a wide range of services including information, non-food items, first aid, psychosocial support, restoring family links, legal aid, safe referrals, integration support, and repair activities. Staffed by trained personnel and supported by volunteers and partners, the HSP provides a safe, welcoming environment that addresses urgent needs and helps facilitate migrants’ onward journeys or integration.
