The IFRC Global Climate Resilience Fund is a pooled fund under the IFRC Global Climate Resilience Platform. It enables donors to provide unearmarked, flexible funding towards the climate resilience work of our 191 members. These National Societies, embedded in local communities and key in implementing climate adaptation programming worldwide, enjoy direct access to this Fund. Donors can contribute to inception, accelerator, or expansion grants, which are used to invest in a range of climate programming, including effective early warning systems, nature-based solutions, and adaptive social protection. This approach empowers communities and National Societies to design and implement sustainable climate adaptation work at the local level.
