This document details the results of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies’ Disaster Response Emergency Fund (IFRC-DREF) pledging conference, held 8 Nov. 2024. As of 8 November, the total voluntary contributions towards IFRC-DREF are over CHF 74 million. With the projected payout from IFRC-DREF Insurance before the end of the year, this is likely to rise to CHF 85 million, meeting IFRC’s funding target for 2024. Such an income represents an increase of 20 percent compared to the total income raised in 2023.
