Case study: Humanitarian assistance in reception centres—Red Cross of Montenegro
This case study highlights the humanitarian services provided by the Red Cross of Montenegro in two reception centres: Bozaj Transit Centre and Spuz Reception Centre. Since 2017, mobile teams have supported migrants and displaced people by offering services such as information, food and water, non-food items, first aid, psychosocial first aid, restoring family links, and safe referrals. Teams are tailored to each location’s needs, with medical-focused staff in Bozaj and psychosocial support workers in Spuz, helping address urgent needs upon arrival and during asylum processing.
