IFRC Global Route Based Migration Programme Annual Report 2024

The 2024 Annual Report of the Global Route-Based Migration Programme showcases the work of 62 National Societies – 16 in Africa, 16 in Europe and Central Asia, 23 in the Americas, and 7 in MENA – working to provide humanitarian assistance and promoting the dignity and safety for people on the move as well as host communities along some of the world's most complex migration routes. In 2024, the Global Programme reached over 2.1 million people along migratory routes including through 195 Humanitarian Service Points and other services, while advancing cross-border cooperation, humanitarian diplomacy, and strengthening National Society capacity. The report also features case studies from Montenegro, Djibouti, Mauritania, Ecuador, and the HSP@Sea operations in the Mediterranean.
