IFRC Secretariat Policy on Prevention and Response to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) 2024

The purpose of this policy is to: clarify and explicitly extend the protection from sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to all IFRC personnel, covered National Society personnel and our partners; update existing standards and protocols for the prevention and protection of affected persons and communities; articulate and systematise a victim/survivor-centred approach to prevent and respond to incidents of SEA; articulate principles, commitments and the roles and responsibilities of all staff, and reinforce a culture of accountability and commitment to the upholding of Fundamental Principles and operationalisation of the Code of Conduct and Interagency Standing Commission Principles against SEA.
