Annual Report

Our Annual Report sets out our achievements, our progress against our strategic priorities, and how we used donor funds in 2022. For the first time, we've also produced a separate report on Regular Resources—the un-earmarked funds crucial to our work supporting effective local humanitarian action.

About our Annual Report 2022

In 2022, the IFRC network witnessed a rise not only in the number of disasters and crises affecting communities around the world, but also in their intensity and complexity.

Despite this, we remained firmly by the side of communities—helping them anticipate, prevent, mitigate, respond to, and recover from rising disasters, health crises, risks and vulnerabilities.

Our commitment to local humanitarian action did not waver, as we supported our more than 16 million Red Cross and Red Crescent volunteers and 197,000 local branches in every corner of the globe.

And we changed our approaches and systems so we could better meet the escalating needs of today, and be agile enough to meet the new challenges of tomorrow.

We deeply thank our National Society staff and volunteers for their unstoppable and inspiring work helping the most vulnerable people around the world. And we thank our partners, donors and supporters who made our life-saving work possible.
